Magnolia Plantation Golf Club ~ 7.03 miles
This almost 7200-yard David Harman creation opened in 2000 with a slight redesign in 2005 by Tommy Fazio (Tom's nephew) . The visually stunning layout features 18 distinctly different holes, all carved out of the Wekiva River Basin. Surrounded by a variety of hardwood trees and native vegetation, the fairways are gently rolling and weave through an upscale real estate development, where water can be found on 15 holes. The par 3's and 4's are extremely challenging while the par 5's give the player an opportunity for that illusive birdie and seldom-achieved eagle. Located in Lake Mary, just an e... more info.
Timacuan Golf Club ~ 7.99 miles

A must-play while in Central Florida, Timacuan is a stunning 6,900-yard championship course located in Lake Mary, 15 minutes north of downtown Orlando. Designed originally by Ron Garl in 1987 and totally renovated with a new look and feel by Bobby Weed in 1996, the course features two very distinct nines. The front nine resembles a Scottish links layout with rolling fairways (some dramatic) bordered by sandy waste areas and deep pot bunkers; water on just 3 holes. The back has the feel of the finest Carolina pineland courses with abundant wildlife and water almost everywhere in sight. Add ou... more info.
Debary Golf And Country Club ~ 16.38 miles
Located on Orlando's north side in DeBary, this challenging course was designed by the golf design team of Clifton, Ezell and Clifton and is part of a vibrant semi-private country club community. Most holes are set away from the community by a buffer zone of dense woods and vegetation. The setting is more reminiscent of the Carolinas than Central Florida and The National Audubon Society has certified the course as an official bird sanctuary habitat. Most interesting for this part of Florida is the fact that the layout features just one water hazard, which borders both the 9th and 18th greens; ... more info.
Country Club Of Mt Dora ~ 18.64 miles

Designed by the Clifton, Ezell & Clifton Golf Group in 1991, this interesting layout offers a formidable challenge for the accomplished player as well as an enjoyable round for the recreational golfer. Water comes into play on 14 holes on this picturesque course, framed by magnificent oaks and pines. The course's rather small, raised greens offer fair but demanding targets. Located in scenic, rural Mt. Dora, approximately 35-40 minutes northwest of downtown Orlando.

Deer Island Club ~ 19.06 miles
Deer Island Club is the centerpiece of a remote 400-acre island that separates beautiful Lake Dora and Lake Beauclaire. The shoreline is rimmed with ancient oaks, pines, palms and cypress trees, along with panoramic views of quaint Mt. Dora in the background. Most likely you'll even catch a glimpse of lounging native alligators along the lake banks. Although water borders all 18 holes, the course is eminently fair and will not penalize a good shot. Architect Joe Lee called Deer Island the "most unique course I've ever designed." An excellent value, this course is well worth the drive to Mt. Do... more info.
